RFMS Traditional Instrument Lessons
What is "traditional method?" Traditional method is the most common musical education method. Teachers instruct their students by teaching them about their instrument, how to read music and/or tablature, and how to play their instrument simultaneously. "Traditional" method will vary from teacher to teacher, however, these main characteristics are the same. This method teaches multitasking skills, discipline, and problem solving skills. This method is an excellent choice for adult and child students alike.
RFMS offers lessons in the following instruments:
*Please Note: Traditional String lessons are only offered to students 6th
grade and above, upon recommendation from your RFMS Instructor. Younger
students will be enrolled in the RFMS Suzuki Program for best results.
